Shennanigans. / Check out some bands please.

- So due to Mike’s car having its monthly visitor heart attack and needing new parts, we didn’t get to do any rough live recordings today. We’re putting the finishes on a new song though, so give it…1-3 weeks or so?…and maybe i’ll post a zip or something of 4 new songs live from our dilapidated practice space. We’ll see. Until then, I’ll let you hear the messy ones we did on my Ipod if you see me somewhere. The good news is nobody is disappointed because nobody knows im updating this site again, including people in the band. HA!

- Halloween is on friday…what can i be if i have next-to-no money?

- We have a couple shows in the works and will hopefully find some more soon. UTG’s final show is November 15th at the Ark. I’ll post more details when they materialize. Keep updated on shows via our myspace…eventually i’ll look into getting a nice show calender or something on here somewhere.

Debtor – Just released their 8-song CD “Deliverance”, which is excellent. Ex-Members of Prevail, Subcolour, and Inane.
For fans Of: Stongarm, Shai Hulud, Sleeping By The Riverside, and Alan being one of the best dudes ever.

Silence At Daybreak – released their first full-length “The Irony Of Disgust” this summer. It is damn heavy, damn awesome, and i do a tiny guest spot on it, so buy it.
For Fans Of: (1 part) Misery Signals, (1 part) Dead To Fall, and (1 part) Isis. I know that doesn’t sound like it makes sense….so…if you like Asian drummer’s with panda tattoos and Chris Evans’ mosh you’re good.

Under The Gun – If you know us, you know them. We’re sad to see them break up, but for all you lazy people that didn’t pick up their last EP “Come Hell Or High Water”, you can now download it for free. Pricks.
For Fans Of: Dead Again, Achilles, that Robin Williams movie where he’s supposed to be 10 years old or something but looks 45, and advocates for the advancement of the word “Fuck”.

All Parallels – Friends from Jersey, released “Solitude” a little while back. Extremely under-rated and should be a much bigger deal.
For Fans Of: (if you mixed) Glassjaw, Quicksand, Weezer, and what the radio would sound like if it wasn’t terrible and pathetic.

Cetus – If you know us and don’t know Cetus, there are problems. Released their first full-length “These Things Take Time” a while back. Currently recording their next EP and it sounds absolutely ridiculous in the best way possible.
For Fans Of: Candiria, Meshuggah, Botch, and the dictionary definition of “awesome”.

The Wonder Years – Old friends going way back. Recently released “Won’t Be Pathetic Forever” on vinyl and digital. Blowing up. They are also doing a charity auction to help fight breat cancer.
For Fans Of: New Found Glory, Bangarang, Set Your Goals, and things that make you want to eat bubblegum ice cream.

Updates…Don’t become Stingy Jack.

We live. (I know, right!?)

I haven’t messed with this thing for a while. I apologize. It should change starting now-ish, if only with my rambling (…believe it or not, this is the short version of what I could post).
What most of us had hoped would be a productive summer was plagued with scheduling conflicts, bad luck, and life crapping on most of us at some point or another (or the whole time). Besides all of that, Mike moved an hour further away, Evan left the country a lot, and a handful of other distractions cropped up. Generally, we’re used to being dealt a rough hand, if you could call it that (it usually resembles something more like a flipper),…so i guess its nothing new. We were hexed by a voodoo witch or something. I apologize to those of you who actually try to keep up with us, we know its sometimes difficult when we stop telling anyone anything or seem very erratic due to the constant flux (SEE WHAT I DID THERE!?) in our lives. I really hope we get better at that, and hopefully the rest of the band helps me see to that. Just yell at me if you’re wondering anything.
