Quicky.

Thanks to everyone who came out last thursday, and to anyone new to us: thanks for checking us out and having a good time. The show was in honor of a tragic event, but definitely was a good time and had a lot of highlights. Great to see so many kids show up that early in the show and on a thursday. Too bad a lot of you young folks had to leave before Cetus went on, they were heavy enough to induce seizures and cause organ displacement simply from sound waves, and it was incredibly welcome. Also, I hurt myself headbanging for them.
We’ll have news on something later this summer we’ll be working on that should make people, new and old, pretty happy. Or so we  hope.
I am not telling you now. Nope. Any time we announce anything, it gets jinxed or messed up (knock on fake desk wood), so I’m waiting ’til its happening or at least all set to.
Also, its my birthday, go buy our damn EP…we may need the cash soon.

SHOW THURSDAY w/ CETUS, LENORE, & more! Remembering Anthony Ayala.

Not a lot to report I don’t think. Friday sucked. Haha.
I’ll keep this one short and tell you about the show you’d be stupid not to go to whether we were playing or not Thursday.
In a tragic and unfortunate moment, Anthony Ayala took his own life recently. In an attempt to help the family pay for the costs of the funeral and all of the emotionally debilitating and financially draining things that go with it, a benefit show is being held on thursday night featuring music by local bands Anthony listened to as well as projects his friends are involved in.
If that isn’t reason enough for you to come, and on a lighter note, this is Cetus‘ first show in quite a while, and the first since they released their new EP “Centrifuge”, which is available for free download here (listen for my guest vocals on the title track).
Plus, you have nothing better to do and can feel like you have a soul while you have fun at a show, so its a multiple win situation.

SHOW FRIDAY – SLAUGHTER HIGH / weekend re-cap.

SHOW FRIDAY AT CENTRAL BUCKS WEST HIGH SCHOOL IN DOYLESTOWN.
It’s us, Lenore, and a lot of young kids. Basically, it will be 71 degrees with a high chance of destruction and a increasing chance of arrest…but its for charity, so you should come out and prove you have a soul since you destroy it the rest of the year. We got a few shows of that nature coming up, so you can get all your repentance out of the way or whatever.

Saturday night was a lot of fun. You should definitley kick yourself in your own ass if you missed it. I expect to see a lot of bruised asses…oh…wait…uhh. Anyways, I think 3 bands played the Ropeburn intro, everyone made fun of Moses, there was new music, unneccessary non-sensical sarcastic mosh calls, Alan tackling and elbow dropping me mid-song, roman candle firing, a lot of smoke, a crapload of free stuff, as well as drama and other assorted crazyness that I won’t even get into. I may be missing stuff.

P.S. – Don’t go see Wolverine unless you like getting more disappointed than you originally expected to be and like to see awesome characters get ruined (Deadpool).

FREE SHOW SATURDAY. (First official show with Mr.Evans)

Sorry the update is late again. I was waiting until I had the final info and flyer for the show next saturday, which I do now and you can see….here:

All the info is there, as you can see, it is FREE, as well as awesome. 2 new bands which should be a ton of fun and have very reputable personage, and 3 bands you better damn well know by now and should come out and house party with.
This will also be our first set with Chris as a member of the band.
We may do a last show with Evan down the line, he’s been a very busy (for one, he’s engaged! congratulate him when you see him) man and we managed to get Chris caught up quick and booked a bunch of shows, so we didn’t really get a chance to figure all that out.
Scott did some guest vocals on “Centrifuge”, the title track of the new Cetus EP, which is available for  FREE download now and will kick your ass repeatedly and cause you to develop a fetish for getting your ass kicked. We’ll be playing with them in Doylestown on the 14th, so make sure you catch that.
Writing has been slow as we were getting situated with Chris and dealing with life, but rest assured we are working on stuff that will cause bowel malfunctions. I think thats a good thing?
Uh…alright. More next week/when I think of things I forgot to tell you.
